Welcome to the 40th reunion for CGA '78!!
Dates: Friday 12 Oct - Sunday 14 Oct 2018
We are getting closer to the 50 yard line so lets have a good showing!! We have started with reservations for our tailgate, and hotel headquarters. The Marriott will include our check-in room, the Hospitality social room for our Friday night welcome, and the ballroom for the Saturday night dinner. Details to be developed. The CGA agenda has not yet been published nor have we planned out the meal and memorabilia.
For our tailgate we are returning to the Leamy Hall Balcony. We will work out the food and drink but any ideas or assistance on that Saturday is appreciated. One good thing - the Homecoming Cocktail Party will be held in Billard Hall so we can return to the Balcony at halftime to recharge our spirits!! (we still need a clean up team...help?)
Your committee has elected to return to the Mystic Marriott (which is really in Groton!! Ahhh Connecticut!) We have blocked 50 rooms at the special group rate for Friday and Saturday nights. (if you desire to check in on Thursday night so you can join us for the Alumni Golf Scramble, you will need to talk to them about extending the group discount rate) The CGA'78 Group room rate is $209/night plus tax and fees. Reservations can be made at this discounted rate until Thursday, September 13, 2018. After that date the rate will no longer be available.

I am guessing the events will flow as follows:
Friday: Morning - annual alumni scramble golf at Stonington (can we get a bunch or particiapnts? Set up your foursomes but if you can't contact anyone, e-mail me and I'll see if we can get you set up - spouses/guest are welcome to play!
Evening Parade - I'm guessing 1600 (4 pm)
CGA'78 Welcome social - at the hotel hospitality room 6 pm until...stay there or break off and hit the town (Campus for pizza, Mr. G's, Ocean Pizza??)
Saturday: CGA Alumi sports (fun run, alumni soccer, alumni crew, etc)
Tailgate/March On/Football Game/Halftime
Alumni Cocktail Party - Billard Hall
CGA '78 Dinner at Marriott/After party in the Hotel Hospitality Room
Sunday: Do your own brunch or hit the road!!
